FBFK Adds Two Lawyers to its Austin Office

July 15, 2025 Jeff Schnick

FBFK Law has hired Roland Wiederaenders and Sarah Florer as shareholders in its Austin office. The veteran corporate and finance lawyers have combined expertise in private capital, fund formation and cross-border transactions that strengthen the firm’s corporate and investment practice, according to a news release.

“Austin is a launchpad for some of the most innovative, fast-growing businesses in the country. And Roland and Sarah are exactly the kind of trusted advisors those clients need,” said Kyle Ferguson, CEO of FBFK Law, in the release. “This move also expands our global reach, especially with Sarah’s deep international experience and Roland’s strength in complex U.S. capital structuring. We’re building with purpose, and this is a powerful next step.”

Wiederaenders was a member at Grable Martin for nearly five years before joining FBFK. Prior to that, he ran the Wiederaenders Law Firm for 14 years.

Before joining FBFK, Florer was also a member at Grable Martin, where she worked for nearly three years. Prior to that, she spent nearly eight years in various legal roles with Dubai-based Axiom Telecom.

Roland Wiederaenders

Wiederaenders has more than two decades of experience guiding businesses, funds and investors through high-value capital raises, securities offerings and financial structuring. “Our clients operate in fast-moving, competitive environments. FBFK’s entrepreneurial model and deal-savvy culture are the right fit for helping them stay ahead,” said Wiederaenders in the release.
