Hamilton Wingo Continues to Grow

January 22, 2026 Alexa Shrake

Hamilton Wingo has added Gina Mills as a partner to its team. Prior to joining the firm, Mills worked on the defense side as an associate at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons.

“I knew that the quality of work that I saw from Hamilton Wingo was really unmatched in representing their clients. So getting the opportunity to join this team has been exciting and something that feels like the right thing to do for me,” Mills said.

Mills has experience in transportation crashes, construction site and other workplace injury claims and product liability lawsuits.

“We are glad to welcome Gina to the Hamilton Wingo team,” firm founder Chris Hamilton said in a news release. “She has proven herself over and over when clients needed it most, and we expect her to continue that tradition at our firm.”

Mills handles all phases of litigation, including written discovery, witness depositions, motion practice and settlement negotiations.

She is already partnering with other attorneys on a few cases.

“I’ve helped in several focus groups since being here. I’m helping another partner with an upcoming trial that’s set next month, where individuals were injured by a commercial vehicle and have suffered catastrophic orthopedic injuries,” Mills said. “I’ve already had the opportunity to help attorneys here handle cases and help with figuring out the best strategies moving forward.”

Mills earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

Hamilton Wingo also added Mike Kaeske recently, as it aims to grow the firm.
