(Aug. 15) – Haynes and Boone announced on Tuesday that energy litigation partner David Ammons has lateraled to the firm from Winstead.
Ammons, the current chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s energy law section, represents onshore and offshore oil and gas producers, gas marketing companies, pipeline companies and petrochemical and refining companies in lease, joint interest and royalty disputes, and class actions.
Ammons in the fourth energy litigator in the Houston area that Haynes and Boone has added in the past year.
“Energy is one of the pillars of the firm, and David will help us deepen our already formidable capacity to represent oil and gas clients in a variety of upstream and midstream disputes,” Tim Powers, managing partner of the firm, said in a statement.
