(January 30) — Dallas-based Carrington Coleman has opened an East Texas office in Longview, the firm announced this week. Rodney Lawson, a Longview native and chair of the firm’s healthcare practice, will be in charge of the office.
“East Texas historically has been a significant region of the state and is an important part of the legal landscape, both locally and nationally,” Lawson said in a statement. “This is something I have personally looked forward to for a long time.
“East Texas is, and always will be my home, and I believe that we really do have something to offer that will make a positive difference. From my perspective, this marriage between my extraordinary law firm and my beloved home is a match made in heaven.”
In addition to healthcare, Carrington Coleman Managing Partner Bruce Collins said in the statement that the firm will be able to serve clients in areas like oil and gas, real estate, business transactions and litigation, employment and construction.
The new office is located on the 7th floor of the Kilpatrick Life Insurance Building in downtown Longview at 211 E. Tyler St, Suite 600.
