(Jan. 2) – Haynes and Boone announced Tuesday nine newly-promoted attorneys to its partnership.

Seven of the new partners office in the firm’s Dallas headquarters.

Troy Christensen focuses his practice on real estate joint ventures and private equity transactions. He is a member of the firm’s real estate practice group.

Erin England, an SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, represents some of the world’s largest companies in domestic and international corporate and financing transactions, including capital commitment subscription financing, mergers and acquisitions financing and real estate transactions. She serves on the firm’s Attorney Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Cory Feldman is also in the firm’s finance practice group. The SMU Dedman grad represents lenders and borrowers in real estate-secured financings, syndicated credit facilities, merger and acquisition financings and unsecured investment grade facilities.

Charlie Jones focuses his litigation practice on patent and trademark infringement litigation, complex commercial litigation, partnership and close corporation disputes, lender liability and bankruptcy litigation. He received his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.

Patricia Mastropierro is in the firm’s international practice group, where she advises companies doing business in Latin America and the Caribbean on cross-border projects, including commercial transactions and regulatory, aviation and litigation matters. She splits time between the firm’s Dallas and Mexico City offices.

Timothy Newman, a former federal law clerk, represents clients in government enforcement actions, cybersecurity matters and complex litigation, including class actions and securities litigation. He also represents companies investigating major data breaches.

Blaine Statham, a member of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice group, represents corporate and private equity clients in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, including assisting private equity funds with the purchase, ongoing representation and sale of portfolio companies.

Michael Parsons and Clint Wilkins are based in the firm’s Richardson office and are members of Haynes and Boone’s intellectual property practice.

Parsons, who also spends time in the firm’s Palo Alto outpost, focuses his practice on post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; U.S. and foreign patent acquisition; and patent litigation.

Wilkins assists clients with inter partes reviews (IPRs), patent litigation, and patent preparation and prosecution. He has handled appeals of IPR decisions all the way to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
