Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has admitted five new Texas lawyers to its partnership.
The Los Angeles-founded firm, which has about 180 lawyers in Dallas and Houston, announced Wednesday that the following lawyers have been made partner:
John Adams (Dallas) — Litigation
Gina Hancock (Dallas) — Executive compensation
Scott Hvidt (Dallas) — Litigation
Sophie Rohnke (Dallas) — Privacy and cybersecurity
Adam Whitehouse (Houston) — M&A
Twenty-six corporate law firms operating in Texas have now announced their 2024-25 partnership classes as of Dec. 18. In all, there will be 121 new corporate law partners come Jan. 1 — 72 are men, 49 are women; 63 are based in Houston and 46 office in DFW. New corporate transactional practice leads litigation 75 to 46.
