Sheppard Mullin announced Wednesday that it has added depth to its Tax, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group with Houston partner Jared Whalen.

“As the firm continues to see strong demand from our private equity and public company clients, Jared’s knowledge and experience in sophisticated transactions and their unique executive compensation and tax issues make him an invaluable resource to our transactional practices,” Luca Salvi, chair of Sheppard Mullin, said in a statement.

AREAS OF FOCUS
Whalen advises clients on the design and implementation and operation of equity incentive plans, as well as the negotiation of executive employment, change in control, and separation agreements in connection with executive hires and departures.
