Barnes & Thornburg has hired veteran Louisiana litigator Kelly E. Brilleaux as a partner in its Dallas office, the firm announced in a news release Thursday.
An experienced product liability litigator, notably in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors, Brilleaux also has a considerable background that includes consumer mass tort, environmental and toxic tort litigation.
“Product liability litigation often involves high-stakes matters that require thoughtful, tailored solutions to manage risk and achieve favorable outcomes,” said D. Randall Brown, chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Litigation Department, in the release. “Kelly’s deep experience across various stages of litigation enables her to handle the evolving and complex challenges our clients face. Brilleaux was hired by Barnes & Thornburg earlier this year from New Orleans, where she worked at Irwin Fritchie for nearly a decade and a half, with the last six years there as a partner.
