Business Court Jurors Hear Opening Statements in Multimillion-Dollar Contract Dispute

Opening statements began Thursday morning in a breach-of-contract jury trial between t an oil and gas company and a clean-energy technology developer.

The case, in which Synergy Thermogen is accusing Blackbrush Oil & Gas of breaching a contract by using its access to the company to delay progress and defraud investors, is taking place in the Merrill Hartman Courtroom at the George Allen Courts Building in Dallas, since the Texas Business Court has no courtroom space of its own.
