(May 5) – Construction law expert Stewart Whitehead will serve as Winstead PC’s new managing shareholder of its Austin office, the firm announced recently.
Whitehead is the chair of the firm’s construction practice, a position he has held since 2008, and a member of the firm’s recruiting committee, where he serves as the student hiring attorney.
The University of Tulsa College of Law graduate represents clients on projects such as commercial and residential construction and development, transportation and drainage issues, industrial and warehouse facilities, hospitals and health care facilities, schools, multi-family housing, surety claims and defense, environmental remediation projects, and employee injury investigations.
Prior to joining Winstead in 1997, Whitehead was an assistant attorney general for the State of Texas.
