(May 28) – Seyfarth Shaw hosted a reception for its lawyers and clients to celebrate its move into new office space at Pennzoil Place on 700 Milam Street in Houston on May 8.

The new digs, designed by Rottet Studio, allows the firm to host 35 percent more lawyers than in its previous space. The floor plan is designed to provide more natural light and promote collaboration.
“We’re excited that our innovative new space aligns with the evolving needs of our clients, lawyers and staff,” Mark Coffin, managing partner of Seyfarth’s Houston office, said in a statement. “With an emphasis on technology and efficiency versus square footage, we’ve designed a space that’s ready for the changing demands of the legal industry and a space that’s unlike any other law firm space in Texas.”
The Chicago-based firm’s Houston office, which now has almost 60 lawyers and staff, opened in 1995.
