(March 11) – K&L Gates recently named John Garda its new administrative partner of the Dallas office. Garda succeeds Craig Budner, who serves as the firm’s global integration partner.
Garda represents clients in business disputes, complex commercial litigation and securities litigation, as well as corporate governance matters and SEC investigations.
He is also a member of the betting and gaming practice group, where he has served as local counsel and advised on regulations and enforcement of policies as part of hosting the Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championship at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie.
“Dallas is experiencing tremendous growth,” Garda said in a statement. “North Texas has become more and more attractive to foreign investments, and homegrown companies are setting their sights on domestic and international expansion.”
