(January 15)–Thompson & Knight added former Vinson & Elkins corporate finance lawyer Alan Baden to its Houston office, the firm announced last week.
Baden, who has more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry, said the firm’s reputation as one of the top oil and gas firms is well-deserved.
“I have practiced across the table from T&K for years and can attest to the high quality of its lawyers,” he said.
In the last 25 years, Baden has worked on master limited partnership (MLP) IPOs for Enterprise Products Partners, Pacific Energy, Global, BreitBurn Energy Partners, Susser Petroleum Partners and Lehigh Gas Partners.
Baden says he and his clients expect to continue to see asset acquisition and divestitures over the next few years as more money flows to domestic oil and gas fields.
