Polsinelli recently announced that Dallas attorney Michael Pegues is the recipient of the 2018 Trailblazer of the Year Award from the Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP).
Pegues is vice chair of Polsinelli’s intellectual property and technology litigation practice. He will formally receive the award at the TMCP annual conference in Houston later this month.
“Mike’s steadfast commitment to supporting and advancing the legal careers of traditionally underrepresented groups is equally inspirational and impactful, and he is well-deserving of this honor,” Jon Henderson, managing partner of Polsinelli’s Dallas office, said in a statement.
“His stewardship of diverse lawyers and initiatives, both within the firm and the broader community, continues to help transform the legal profession and foster an environment of equal treatment and fairness.”
The other finalists for the Trailblazer of the Year Award were Debra Tsuchiyama Baker from Baker Wotring and Chevazz Brown of Jackson Walker.
