Andrews Myers has recruited lawyers from three different law firms to beef up its burgeoning litigation practice in Houston.
Hunter Barrow, who will lead the Andrews Myers business litigation team, has lateraled over from Thompson & Knight, where he practice for nearly two decades. He handles matters involving energy, financial institutions, securities, real estate, intellectual property, antitrust, insurance, product liability and general commercial litigation.
Jim Aycock, formerly of Porter Hedges, has also joined Andrews Myers as a shareholder., who practiced at Porter Hedges for nearly two decades, has also signed on as a shareholder. He represents national and regional banks, private and publicly-held energy companies, and private corporations and partnerships in litigation.
Wade Johnson is a licensed patent attorney who focuses his practice on intellectual property matters. He is a former colleague of Barrow’s at T&K, but most recently was managing partner of the litigation practice at Nolte Intellectual Property Law Group.
