The Texas Lawbook is pleased to present the updated Corporate Deal Tracker master list of mergers and acquisitions for 2019.
The Corporate Deal Tracker is the exclusive Texas Lawbook database that documents every M&A deal and every securities offering handled by lawyers in Texas, including corporate in-house counsel.
The goal is to make The Texas Lawbook the most comprehensive source of corporate transactions in Texas. Each week, Lawbook M&A writer Claire Poole documents dealmaking in Texas in her weekly roundup. Claire is the premier reporter covering the M&A world in this state. In addition, The Texas Lawbook has an exclusive partnership with the independent research firm Mergermarket, which documents all transactions of companies and private equity firms that are headquartered in Texas.
Texas Lawbook senior editor Allen Pusey and Lawbook data research Makenna Brooks convert Claire’s content into the database format.
If a Texas lawyer worked on an M&A transaction – even if the lawyer represented non-Texas clients – we want to know about it and document it.
Today, The Lawbook publishes the CDT’s 2019 M&A Master List for all non-confidential transactions, which are deals in which the names of the clients and deal amounts are public. We ask that you review the master and please contact Claire (Claire.poole@texaslawbook.net) and Allen (allen.pusey@texaslawbook.net) if you see any transactions that are missing.
On Friday, The Lawbook will publish the CDT’s 2019 Securities Offering Master List.
Starting Monday, March 23, The Texas Lawbook will publish a series of articles over the next three weeks that delve into the deal data by examining transactions by business sector, by deal value and by various other factors. The Lawbook also will reveal which Texas lawyers and law firms led the most transactions during the past year. Finally, The Lawbook will publish a master list of confidential transactions and the lawyers and firms that handled them.
We hope you enjoy this in-depth coverage.
