As the Southern District of Texas continues to be a hotbed for bankruptcy filings, Chamberlain Hrdlicka has recruited Jarrod Martin to establish the firm’s bankruptcy section in Houston.
Martin – who will co-chair the bankruptcy, restructuring, reorganization and creditors’ rights practice firmwide – previously led the bankruptcy practice at McDowell Hetherington. His experience has mainly been related to restructuring matters affecting energy companies.
After receiving his law degree from the University of Miami, Martin started his career as a clerk for the Honorable Jeff Bohm, a former bankruptcy judge in Houston. He then worked for the U.S. Department of Justice in Denver before returning to Houston in private practice.
