Thompson & Knight announced this week the election of seven attorneys to the partnership in the firm’s Dallas office. They are:
Christopher L. Chauvin, whose practice focuses on litigation, arbitration, and counseling on matters involving contracts, negligence, RICO, defamation, real estate, and general commercial activities.
Katharine Battaia Clark, whose practice focuses on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and litigation, including representation of banks, indenture trustees, acquirers of assets from bankruptcy estates, and debtors and creditors in Chapter 11, 7, and 13 bankruptcy cases in a broad range of contested matters and adversary proceedings. She is a 2004 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law.
Adrienne E. Dominguez, whose practice focuses on matters involving intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. She is a 1995 graduate of UT Law.
Jennifer Rudenick Ecklund, whose practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution matters involving securities, healthcare, tax, and mortgage fraud, as well as matters related to Ponzi schemes and resulting receiverships. Ecklund, a 2004 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law, previously served as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, in its tax division, representing the U.S. in all phases of litigation before federal district and bankruptcy courts.
Jennifer Taylor Fargo, whose practice focuses on representing lenders in multi-state construction and permanent lending transactions secured by real estate projects. She is a 1999 graduate of UT Law.
Timothy E. Hudson, whose practice focuses on products liability, business litigation, securities litigation, class actions defense, and representation before government agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission. He is a 2004 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law.
Neely P. Munnerlyn, whose practice focuses on employee benefits, executive compensation, and taxation. Munnerlyn, a 1998 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, advises employers and fiduciaries on tax and ERISA issues relating to the design and administration of qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation programs and welfare benefit plans.
