Texas A&M University’s buyout of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law is one step closer.
On Friday, the American Bar Association Council for the Section of Legal Education formally approved the Texas Wesleyan – Texas A&M University joint application for acquiescence, according to the feature online publication TAMUtimes. This completes the last regulatory step needed to complete the law school acquisition.
Both universities anticipate making a formal announcement later this week about a successful deal close.
More details to come as the story develops.
