McGinnis Lochridge announced this week that Travis Vickery, a former administrative law judge with the State Office of Administrative Hearings, has joined the firm’s Austin headquarters as of counsel.
Vickery, a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, will be a member of the firm’s electric energy practice. As an administrative law judge, he handled cases in the electric energy, natural resources and environmental sectors.
“Travis brings to McGinnis Lochridge his years of experience and knowledge of the rules, regulations, statutes and case law governing the Texas electric industry,” Melissa Salhab Sykes, chair of the firm’s electric energy practice group, said in a statement.
“He will be able to utilize that expertise to advise our electric cooperatives and municipally owned utility clients on regulatory matters and contested cases before the Public Utility Commission and SOAH.”
