The Lanier Law Firm has tapped Alex J. Brown to be managing attorney for the firm’s commercial litigation practice.
Brown has experience at both a big corporate law firm and a plaintiff’s firm. He practiced at Thompson & Knight from 2000 to 2008, and was most recently at the Houston personal injury shop Heard Law Firm.
He said in an email announcing his decision to rejoin the Lanier Law Firm that he was “pleased, flattered and excited” to have been approached by Mark Lanier to lead the firm’s commercial litigation practice.
“After more than 18 years of trial and litigation experience, I feel very fortunate to reconnect with a firm that has transformed the approach to trial litigation through technology, innovative strategies and a true focus on building the attorney-client relationship,” Brown said.
