Alistair Dawson Named Fellows Chair of Texas Bar Foundation

July 17, 2018 Brooks Igo

Beck Redden partner Alistair Dawson, who recently completed his service as president of the Houston Bar Association, has been elected the Fellows Chair of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Dawson officially took office in June and will serve a one-year term. The Texas Bar Foundation will award a record $1,350,000 in grants to assist nonprofit organizations in justice-related programs and services, according to a press release sent by Beck Redden.

“The Fellows enable the Bar Foundation to continue its mission and award much-needed grant money to charities throughout Texas. This year, we have increased our goal for the Fellow program in hopes that we can award even more grant money in the future,” Dawson said in a statement.
