Andrews Kurth Adds James Edward Maloney as Partner

James Edward Maloney has joined Andrews Kurth as a partner in the firm’s litigation section in Houston. Maloney previously served as chair of the Securities Litigation Section at Baker Botts and was the long-time leader of that firm’s Employment Committee.

Since he started practicing in 1975, Maloney has represented businesses and executives in securities litigation, takeover disputes, class action claims and corporate investigations. He has tried more than 100 cases to a jury and represents clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Trade Commission.
