(Feb. 28) – Andrews Kurth Kenyon announced recently that associate Kathryn Boatman received the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s Wm. Reece Smith Jr. National Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. She is the first Houston lawyer to receive the honor.
The Baylor Law School graduate focuses her practice on commercial, oil and gas and copyright litigation. Last year, she received the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from both the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
Boatman is a former law clerk to former Supreme Court of Texas Justice Dale Wainwright and Judge Jennifer Elrod of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
