(Dec. 6) – Andrews Kurth Kenyon announced recently that four lawyers have been promoted to partner, including three in Texas.
J. Russell Denton is an Austin attorney that focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, proxy solicitations and other contests for corporate control, corporate governance and SEC compliance and disclosure matters.
Denton was recently involved in a $1.1 billion sale of a publicly-traded medical device company and $130 million sale of a private medical device company.
Thomas McCulloch and Harve Truskett are based in Houston.
McCulloch is a trial lawyer who has defended managed care entities and administrators in many areas of litigation, including ERISA, Medicare, FEHBA, bad faith insurance allegations, prompt pay and contractual and extra-contractual disputes with providers and hospitals. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law.
Truskett centers his practice on energy transactions. The University of Houston Law Center graduate has represented buyers and sellers in both upstream and midstream oil and gas transactions, owners of mineral royalty interests and borrowers and lenders in credit facilities.
