Gibbs & Bruns partner Caitlin Halpern was involved in competitive public speaking and debate in elementary school, and from an early age she knew she wanted to be a lawyer.

“Once I learned that I could debate professionally and get paid for it and do that for life, I knew that was really appealing, and it really locked in,” Halpern said.
