(Oct. 10) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced this morning that it is launching a Houston office, the firm’s second in Texas, with a 13-lawyer team from Coats Rose.
Partners Patrick Gaas and Daniel Shank are leading the lateral group, which includes seven counsel and four associates.
Gaas, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, represents owners, contractors and design professionals in commercial and industrial disputes and transactions. He will be in the firm’s contruction and infrastructure practice.
Shank will be part of Kilpatrick’s commercial litigation team, which has more than 20 lawyers in Texas. He focuses on commercial, energy, real estate and environmental litigation.
The Atlanta-based Kilpatrick Townsend entered Texas with a Dallas office in 2015, which now has close to 30 attorneys.
