The University of Texas – Pan American College of Social and Behavioral Sciences has appointed Dan Worthington, a litigation partner at Atlas, Hall & Rodriguez, to serve on the College’s External Advisory Board.
“The University of Texas – Pan American can achieve more by incorporating the experience and advice from industry professionals who are able to provide a real world perspective on matter that affect the university and its graduates who seek employment,” Worthington, a 1985 graduate of Pan American University, said in a statement.
The External Advisory Board, made up of 20 alumni, academics and other members of the community, advises Dean Walter Diaz on the potential development of existing and future programs, serves as a liaison between the college and the community, provides off campus internships for selected students seeking a degree in the field offered by the college and helps develop contacts with community organizations whose objectives complement those of the college.
