
Jackson Walker announced this month that emerging growth and venture capital partner Michelle Kwan has joined the firm’s Austin office.
Kwan lateraled over from A&O Shearman. She advises clients on corporate venture capital and strategic investments, equity financings, public and private offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
According to her LinkedIn bio, her clients include Chevron Technology Ventures, Citigroup, CVS Health Ventures, Dick’s Sporting Goods, GE Vernova, USAA, and Yamaha Motor Ventures.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michelle to Jackson Walker,” Alden Crow, partner and chair of Jackson Walker’s Corporate & Securities group, said in the announcement. “Her addition will further strengthen our capabilities in complex corporate transactions and investor-side representation across dynamic and regulated markets.”
Kwan started her 30-year career at Brobeck and has also practiced at K&L Gates and Andrews Kurth.

Kwan counsels corporate venture capital and strategic investors, investment funds, and other venture capital investors on investments, divestments, and other portfolio company matters.
