(Nov. 30) – Baker Donelson awarded a Houston student at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law with its 2018 Diversity Scholarship.
Ronak Chokhani was selected from 188 applicants attending 74 different law schools across the country, including Duke, NYU, UC-Berkeley, University of Michigan and Vanderbilt. He is in his second year and will be a summer associate in Baker Donelson’s Houston office in 2018.
The Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship Program was launched in 2008. The firm awards scholarships annually to law students who have completed their first year of law school. Each recipient receives a salaried second-year summer associate position and, upon completion, is awarded a $10,000 scholarship for the student’s third year of law school.
