By Natalie Posgate – (December 11) – Texas lawyers from Baker & McKenzie recently represented Plano-based Rimrock Midstream, LLC in the sale of its 50 percent joint venture interest in the Grand Mesa Pipeline to NGL Energy Partners for $310 million.
The transaction will make Tulsa-based NGL own 100 percent of the pipeline system.
Dallas partner Roger Bivans led the deal for Rimrock, and received assistance from fellow Dallas partner Crews Lott, Houston partner Natalie Regoli and Dallas associate Brook Mestre.
Nebraska law firm McGrath North represented NGL in the transaction.
Once completed, the Grand Mesa Pipeline will transport more than 130,000 barrels per day of crude oil from Colorado to Cushing, Okla. It is slated to begin service at the end of 2016.
