By Natalie Posgate – (December 18) – Danish engineering and consulting company, Ramboll, has acquired Virginia-based ENVIRON, which Ramboll says places it among the top 10 leading environmental consultancies.
The combined revenue of Ramboll and Environ exceeds $1.7 billion.
Dallas partner Roger Bivans led a global team of lawyers from Baker & McKenzie for Ramboll’s end of the deal. Bivans received assistance from Dallas partners Kimberly Rich and Todd Schroeder, Dallas associates Brook Mestre, Jennifer Cannan and Joy Williamson and Houston associate Joel Stark.
Attorneys from Baker & McKenzie’s Sao Paulo, San Francisco, Hong Kong, London, Sydney, Palo Alto, Munich, Moscow, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Paris and Washington, D.C. offices were also involved.
In October 2013, the firm advised Ramboll when it purchased Houston-based Excel Engineering, Inc., which was Ramboll’s first acquisition in the U.S.
Philadelphia law firm Drinker, Biddle & Reath represented ENVIRON.
