(Oct. 3) – Baker McKenzie announced Tuesday that former Vinson & Elkins partner David Lang has joined the firm in Houston as global head of LNG.
At V&E, Lang practiced for seven years in the firm’s Hong Kong office, including two years as managing partner. He advises domestic and international clients on project development and transactions related to gas supply, liquefaction, marketing and shipping, regasification and gas sales.
Jose Moran, chair of Baker McKenzie’s North American banking, finance and major projects practice, described Lang in an official firm statement as “one of the best of his generation” in the LNG sector.
