(Jan. 30) – BakerHostetler named on Tuesday a successor to Houston Office Managing Partner Lisa Pennington, who is retiring on July 1 after 28 years with the firm.

Matthew Caligur, the litigation practice group coordinator for the Houston office, will replace Pennington, who has led the office since 2000.

During Pennington’s tenure as office managing partner, BakerHostetler more than doubled its headcount in Houston to 75 attorneys. She has been involved with the firm’s Policy Committee and Diversity Committee and was the inaugural chair of its Women’s Committee.

Caligur made partner in 2009. His litigation practice includes international trade, complex commercial and product liability matters.
