(Nov. 19) – Barnes & Thornburg, which launched its Dallas office in June, recently announced the addition of two more attorneys.
Ray Urbanik, a bankruptcy attorney from Munsch Hardt, has joined as of counsel and Douglas Haloftis, formerly of Gardere, has joined as a partner. The Indianapolis-based law firm now has seven attorneys based in Dallas.
Haloftis, a South Texas College of Law graduate, focuses his practice on labor and employment matters. He led Gardere’s empoloyment and immigration practices and served on the firm’s diversity and political action committees.
“A heightened regulatory environment following the passage of the Affordable Care Act has led to a bevy of new labor and employment challenges,” Mark Bayer, managing partner of Barnes & Thornburg’s Dallas office, sad in a statement.
