(Sept. 19) – Bell Nunnally & Martin is strengthening its health care and estate practices by adding two new senior attorneys to the firm.
Jacob Pollack joined the firm’s private clients and estate planning group as a partner, while Laura James, a former general counsel of a Dallas-based physician management company, will serve as senior counsel.
Pollack was previously at the Holmes Firm in Addison. He says he was looking for a broader platform for his clients.
Tax reform remains the topic du jour for his clients. He suggests there is a real question as to whether there will even be an estate tax by the end of the year or early 2018.
“The chance of an estate tax repeal is higher than it’s ever been,” says Pollack, a St. Mary’s University School of Law graduate.
James focuses her health care practice on assisting clients – including physicians, physician groups and medical organizations – with corporate and transactional matters.
