(Jan. 4) – Bell Nunnally & Martin announced Wednesday the promotions of Andrew Dowdy and Allison Elko to the partnership of the Dallas-based firm.
Dowdy focuses his practice on business formation and structures, contract drafting and negotiation, merger and acquisition transactions and federal and state tax issues. He is a graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law.
Elko is in the firm’s real estate practice. She held two in-house positions – associate general counsel for Hexter-Fair Title Company (now part of First American Title Company) and senior counsel for Windstream Corporation – before joining Bell Nunnally in 2016. Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star has twice named Elko its Dallas “Big Sister of the Year.”
