The Dallas Bar Association announced Monday that Bill Holston, executive director of the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, will received the 2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Justice award.
Holston will be honored at a luncheon at the Belo Mansion on January 21. The award is given to Dallas leaders whose lives and practice exemplify the principles embodied by Dr. King, according to the DBA’s announcement.
Past winners of the award include Ron Kirk, Kim Askew, E. Leon Carter and Justice Carolyn Wright.
