(Jan. 10) – Bracewell announced Tuesday that it minted nine new attorneys to the partnership, including six in Texas.
Christopher Drymalla, a Baylor University School of Law graduate, counsels clients, particularly in the energy industry, in the procurement of patents and the management of intellectual property assets. He is based in Austin.
Jonathon Hance maintains a litigation and transactional practice in Houston, where he handles contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, patent infringement, copyright, trademark and energy disputes, as well as software licensing and trademarks transactions. He is a former clerk to the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and an SMU Dedman School of Law alumnus.
Austin Lee is based in Houston and focuses his practice on transactional oil and gas matters, mostly in the upstream sector. He received his law degree from the University of Texas.
Edmund Robb concentrates his practice in Houston on energy, construction and municipal litigation matters. He has represented the City of Houston, the Dricscoll Foundation, the Lower Colorado River Authority and the Gulf Coast Water Authority.
Brian Teaff is a tax and public finance lawyer in Houston. He specializes in advising tax-exempt organizations, including Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston Methodist, Texas Health Resources, Rice and Baylor universities, Space Center Houston and the YMCA of the Greater Houston Area.
Brian Tompkins, a graduate of UT School of Law, focuses his practice on patent prosecution for software, chemical and chemical process technologies. He is based in Austin.
