Bradley recently announced that it has hired a veteran partner for the firm’s Dallas office in its corporate & securities practice.
The addition of Viking W. Tao pushes Bradley’s number of attorneys in the Dallas office — which launched in 2019 — past 60, according to a news release.
“Viking has extensive experience representing domestic and international clients with sophisticated corporate issues, and her arrival continues the strategic expansion of our corporate and transactional practices across the state,” said Bradley Dallas Office Managing Partner John A. Bonnet III in the release. “We are proud of the growth we have experienced in Dallas, which has contributed to the firm’s significant presence in Texas, and we believe that our exceptional culture and thoughtful approach to meeting the needs of clients has allowed us to flourish in this competitive market.”
Tao comes to Bradley from Polsinelli, where she had been a shareholder for nearly three years. Before that, she was a partner and the China Practice Chair for Kane Russell Coleman Logan’s Dallas office, where she spent almost 16 years.
Prior to entering private practice, Tao served as in-house counsel in New York for an international financial institution during its $9.7 billion IPO, according to the release.
According to the Texas Lawbook 50, Bradley increased its Texas lawyer headcount 11.6 percent last year to 106. The firm’s Texas revenue increased 25 percent to $81.1 million in 2024.
