Butler Snow bolstered its Texas presence this week with lateral additions in Dallas and Austin.
Dallas bankruptcy and restructuring attorney Candice Carson was previously an associate at Weil. She joins Butler Snow as senior counsel and represents clients in the automotive, airline, oil and gas, medical and retail sectors.
Carson reunites with bankruptcy pro Martin Sosland, her former colleague at Weil. Sosland was part of the group that led Butler Snow’s expansion into Texas in 2016.
In Austin, new partner Thomas Forbes brings more depth to Butler Snow’s regulatory and government practice group. Forbes, who lateraled over from Kemp Smith, offer provides clients with government relations, regulatory and public affairs advice and advocacy and business transactions.
