For the week ending July 4, the CDT Roundup saw 15 deals valued at more than $8.45 billion. The week prior saw 11 deals reported worth about $46 billion, buoyed by the inaugural $25 billion debt offering by SpaceX. This time last year, the CDT Roundup reported nine deals for $15.8 billion.
Lawyers in the Lone Star State remained active throughout the holiday week working on deals involving the heavy stuff: midstream assets, bitcoin mining, Gulf Coast ammonia plants, offshore helicopters, offshore platforms, West Texas power plants and a Fort Worth rail transloading company.
The CDT Roundup is a regular feature from The Texas Lawbook highlighting the work Texas dealmakers are doing inside and outside the state.
Have a deal we should include next week?
Please share your news with us at CDTRoundup@texaslawbook.net by sending a news release or a short blurb containing the date of the deal, a brief description, a link to any public announcement, the lead lawyers and their offices, and all other Texas lawyers who advised on the deal.
