(April 3) – Oklahoma City law firm Crowe & Dunlevy has beefed up its intellectual property practice with the addition of two directors who departed Gardere after its merger with Foley & Lardner.
Andy Szuwalski, who chaired Gardere’s IP practice, and Jeremy Berman rejoin Randy Gordon and Luke Wohlford, two former Gardere partners who launched Crowe & Dunlevy’s Dallas office last fall.
Gordon noted that the new additions build on the firm’s “strong” IP group in Oklahoma and bring that expertise to the firm’s Dallas office. He also highlighted Szuwalski and Berman’s “sweetspot” in the semiconductor sector, an area of work the firm’s Oklahoma IP group did not have.
“Andy and Jeremy add an important piece firmwide and to what we are trying to do here in Texas,” Gordon, managing director of Crowe & Dunlevy’s Dallas office, said.
Yesterday, The Texas Lawbook reported that a total of 20 lawyers left the newly-combined Foley Gardere for Husch Blackwell and Jackson Walker.
