Crowe & Dunlevy Signs Two Bankruptcy Attorneys from Husch Blackwell

May 23, 2019 Brooks Igo

Crowe & Dunlevy recently added depth to its bankruptcy bench through two Dallas lateral hires.

Vickie Driver and Christina Stephenson have joined the Oklahoma City firm’s Dallas office as directors. They were previously at Husch Blackwell.

Driver, who received her law degree from Baylor, focuses her practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, distressed asset transactions, Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings and Native American economic development. She was the co-founder and inaugural president of the DFW Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers and is a former chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section.

Stephenson assists companies and individuals in Chapter 11 reorganizations, bankruptcy-related litigation and appeals and out-of-court restructuring. The SMU Dedman School of Law graduate is a board member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. At SMU, Stephenson served as an extern for the Honorable Harlin D. Hale in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Crowe & Dunlevy, which opened its Dallas office in the fall of 2017, has also brought on Texas A&M law professor Milan Markovic as a legal industry analyst. Markovic – who is also the associate dean for assessment, strategic analysis and reporting at TAMU School of Law – will assist Crowe & Dunlevy with client development and growth initiatives.
