(Jan. 3) – The Dallas Bar Association announced Wednesday that Michael K. Hurst of Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst will officially become its 109th president on January 20.
Hurst is a past chair of the DBA’s board of directors; co-chair of the 2013-2014 Equal Access to Justice Campaign; and previous head of several DBA committees and sections, including the Bylaws, Judicial Investiture, and Peer Assistance Committees and the Trial Skills Section.
The Dallas trial partner received the Outstanding Mentor Award from both the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Texas Young Lawyers Association in 2014. He was also the first man to receive the Louise B. Raggio Award from the Dallas Women Lawyers Association in 2015.
