(May 24) – Dykema Cox Smith recently announced that Austin senior counsel Mary Schaerdel Dietz was honored by the State Bar of Texas with the “Standing Ovation Award.”

Dietz was one of nine volunteer lawyers recognized by the staff of TexasBarCLE for her contributions in 2015 to the State Bar’s continuing legal education efforts.

At last year’s State Bar Annual Meeting in San Antonio, she organized an Advanced Evidence and Discovery Course called a “Trial Masters Luncheon,” where course attendees met with trial pros from TEX-ABOTA to discuss skills and strategy.
