(Feb. 17) – Dykema recently announced that it is boosting its real estate practice and adding another Hughes & Luce alumnae to its team in Texas.
Zammurad (Bob) Feroze, who becomes the ninth Hughes & Luce alumnae and 27th lawyer overall in the Detroit-based firm’s Dallas and Austin offices, joins Dykema as a member from K&L Gates.
The Harvard Law School graduate said the opportunity to rejoin former colleagues and take on a new challenge enticed him.
“The Dallas office is trying to build up its transactional practice,” he said. “I want to be a part of building that.”
Feroze, who led the real estate practice at Hughes & Luce prior to its merger with K&L Gates, focuses his practice on projects for industrial, office, residential and retail uses. He says the Dallas real estate market is vibrant.
“Unlike the rest of the country, the residential real estate market has been doing well, and I expect more of the same this year,” he said.
One of Feroze’s recent projects was the Copper Creek Apartments development in Fort Worth.
