(May 9) – Clyde Siebman’s East Texas trial law firm has a new name after the departure of a name partner and the promotion of another.
Siebman, Burg, Phillips & Smith, a law firm known for its work before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, is now Siebman, Forrest, Burg & Smith.
Former partner Larry Phillips was sworn in as judge of the 59th District Court in Grayson County on May 1. Replacing Phillips in the firm’s name is recently-minted partner Elizabeth Forrest, the daughter of firm founder Siebman.
