(March 18) – Longview, Texas-based Ward & Smith announced yesterday it is adding Wesley Hill as a named partner. The firm is now Ward, Smith & Hill, PLLC.
Hill, who has tried more than 20 cases in his career, has been a partner at the East Texas trial firm since 2009. He focuses his practice on patent cases heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He also represents plaintiffs and defendants in oil and gas disputes, business litigation and federal criminal defense matters.
“Wes is one of the top lawyers you’ll find anywhere, and we’re proud to add his name to the firm brand that he’s helped build over the years,” Johnny Ward, one of the firm’s founders, said in a statement. “Like all of our lawyers, he is at home in the courtroom, which is why so many clients continue to call on Wes for their most important cases.”
