Dallas energy regulatory experts Myles Reynolds and Tab Urbantke have left Vinson & Elkins to join Hunton Andrews Kurth as partners, the firm announced on Thursday.
Reynolds and Urbantke were associates together at Hunton & Williams from 2002 to 2008. Reynolds then went in-house at EnLink Midstream for nine months before joining Urbantke at V&E in 2009, where they both have practiced since. They exited as partner and counsel, respectively.
Reynolds represents electric and natural gas utilities, midstream companies and other energy providers in litigated proceedings, including rate cases, certificate proceedings and complaints.
Urbantke advises electric and gas utilities, mining companies, power marketers and generators in rulemaking proceedings and administrative litigation involving a variety of rate case, licensing, complaint and merger proceedings.
